The Broker Reciprocity (BR) concept adopted by the MLS in Jan 2002 allows any agent to display and advertise another agent's listing on their own individual website.  The name of the Listing Company must be displayed, but no contact information is allowed.  This program has many benefits.  For example it:

1. Allows you to add substantial content to your own website and provide your customers and clients access to a multitude of area listings.
2. For your sellers, this provides increased exposure and therefore increases the chances that the property will be seen and ultimately sold.

How would the BR concept work with CVH produced Virtual Tours?

We have developed a BR compliant version of our Virtual Tours, as well as a listing format.  This would allow BR subscribers to add a link to their website that would give their clients and customers access to all of the current active Virtual Tours produced by CharlestonVirtualHomes.com.

The BR version looks very similar to the MLS version but it has the BR symbol and the name of the Listing Company at the bottom of each tour.

What does this mean for you?

As a customer of CharlestonVirtualHomes.com you have the right to OPT OUT of this service.  This means that your tours will never appear on the BR list.  We will also not give any agent the right to post a link to your tour from their website.

We strongly suggest that you consider allowing your tours to be a part of this program since ultimately it will mean that your tour could be featured on hundreds of individual web sites and therefore increase the chance of the property being sold.  It also makes a fantastic listing tools since you can provide your clients with increased exposure.

How can you add this program to your own Website?

There is a monthly cost of $30 to maintain your access.  This will give you acess to a database of hundreds of Charleston area listings with Virtual Tours. Subscriptions are billed in recurring monthly payments of $30.  You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking here.

Anytime a Virtual Tour is shot by CharlestonVirtualHomes.com, it will be added automatically to the database.  CVH will maintain close supervision on the listings so that we can update prices and statuses of the listings.

We are VERY excited about this upgrade to our service, and we hope that you take advantage of it. Agents that OPT-OUT will not be allowed to purchase the BR plan.  This Plan is only being offered to current customers of CharlestonVirtualHomes.com and is not available to the general Realtor Community at this time.  All rights to tours are still reserved by CharlestonVirtualHomes.com
